Classroom Training
Proofpoint classroom training provides a comprehensive curriculum with extensive hands-on exercises to promote learning and exploration of the Proofpoint solution that would be impossible outside of a safe lab environment. It's also an opportunity to learn about how other Proofpoint customers use our solutions. Proofpoint classroom training workshops are held on a regular basis at our headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.
Custom Onsite Training Workshops
Proofpoint's Custom Training sessions take the standard course curriculum and customize the agenda based on your specific requirements. Custom Training can be provided at Proofpoint's facilities or at the location of your choice.

Course Descriptions
Proofpoint Administrator Training
This comprehensive, 3-day course for Proofpoint customers and partners covers administration of the Proofpoint solution, including inbound email security modules and capabilities as well as data loss prevention and encryption modules (Regulatory Compliance, Digital Asset Security, and Encryption). It covers architecture, installation, configuration, policy implementation and management, user management, and basic troubleshooting and monitoring. This course is taught through a combination of presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on lab exercises. It is recommended for system administrators, network managers, and information security managers responsible for ongoing management of Proofpoint systems.
Proofpoint Advanced Administrator Training
This 1-day course takes Proofpoint customers and partners on a tour of the back-end software system. It covers log files, master-agent architecture, patches and upgrades, and typical maintenance tasks and support issues. The course is taught through a combination of presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on lab exercises. Students are expected to have attended the Proofpoint Administrator Training, or to already be familiar with Proofpoint Protection Server administration. Students will be using Linux command line for the lab exercises, so it is essential that they be comfortable with the Linux command line.

This 4-day bundle combines enrollment in the Proofpoint Administrator Training and Advanced Administrator Training classes.
